Aztec Student Union & Scripps Cottage
The Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union contains multiple event and meeting venues including conference rooms, Montezuma Hall, and the Union Theatre. Reservations are available for all Student Union locations and Scripps Cottage.

Viejas Arena
The 12,414 seat, state-of-the-art Viejas Arena is managed by Associated Students (AS). Viejas Arena is home to Aztec Men's and Women's Basketball teams, concerts, commencements and other university and community events. Rental rates, staffing, production, parking and ticketing costs, as well as other event related expenses are charged at rates current at the time of booking.

Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre
With a capacity of over 4,800, the Open Air Theatre, a natural outdoor amphitheater, has been host to today's most popular entertainers as well as community and campus events. Rental rates, staffing, production, parking and ticketing costs, as well as other event related expenses are charged at rates current at the time of booking. Certain restrictions regarding amplified sound may be imposed and approval must be obtained prior to booking.

The Performing Arts District
At the heart of SDSU’s Performing Arts District are five distinctive performance and patron venues: the historic SDSU Main Stage (built in 1967), the contemporary Prebys Stage, the Dean Joyce M. Gattas Pavilion, the Bill and Evelyn Lamden Stage and the Ben and Nikki Clay Stage.

Bernstein Theatre
The 170-seat (including the balcony) venue features theatre seating and a raised stage and is ideal for film screenings. Use of audio-visual equipment should be contracted with Instructional Technology Services, subject to the applicable fees. Theatre users may not have access to the projection booth or backstage area and may not remove the equipment box on stage.

Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center
The Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center features 20,000 square feet of meeting and gathering space and is available for use by alumni, friends of SDSU and the community.
The Alumni Center offers three distinct event spaces to suit a variety of needs. The Fowler Family Ballroom is the largest venue, accommodating up to 300 guests for receptions or 200 seated, ideal for award celebrations, dinners, and large social gatherings.
The Stephen L. Weber Alumni Boardroom provides a professional setting for meetings of up to 48 guests, featuring built-in audiovisual technology and modern conference amenities.
For smaller, more intimate events, the Allan Bailey Library offers a warm, elegant atmosphere for up to 48 guests, surrounded by rich wood finishes and university memorabilia, perfect for receptions, luncheons, or special celebrations.
The Foyer and Rotunda provide a versatile add-on space for larger events, serving as a pre-function area, exhibit hall, or cocktail reception space that complements the Ballroom or Library.

Facilities managed by Aztec Shops such as dining halls, East Commons and the Faculty-Staff Club are reserved on a fee basis. For information on a particular space listed, contact the number below.

Other Conference/Meeting Spaces: Tula and South Campus Plaza
There are additional event, conference and meeting spaces located at the Tula Community Center and inside our residential communities at South Campus Plaza. More information regarding room capacity, features, floor plans, photos and rates can be found on the Housing and Residential Education website.
- Reservations for these spaces during the academic year can be made using the SDSU On-Campus Housing Meeting Room Reservation Request form
- The requests must be submitted at least three (3) weeks in advance of your event
- If you are a Recognized Student Organization, your event must be submitted through the EAS form before filling out the reservation form.
- Reservations during the summer must be made through Conference Services.
KPBS, The Conrad Prebys Media Complex at Copley Center
KPBS offers versatile event spaces, conveniently located at the gateway to San Diego State University. The recent renovation and expansion is designed to welcome and engage the community and provides a perfect setting to host meetings, conferences and special events.
